Countercorp is a Group of trade and countertrade services and investment consultants.
It is headed by Samuel Marshall who is also principal shareholder in Marshall Produce Brokers India, the leading commodity brokers in India for over 40 years. A major share of the Group's trading activities are being situated at the owned property in Jolly Maker Chambers at Nariman Point property. Marshall Produce, New Delhi are amongst the top 3 freight brokers accredited to Indian Government Transchart Organization. Marpro London, where Samuel Marshall's team was the premier world brokers in Edible Oils internationally a "by-word" in Oils handling over 2 million tons a year from various origins to various destinations. The Group Have switched priorities from West to East since 1986 by moving to Singapore and whereas in London we were marketing the West including Brazil, Argentina, USA, Europe to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran and South Asia, now Countercorp concentrates on marketing from East to West. Marpro Oils and Grains Sdn Bhd, a fully owned company of Samuel Marshall, incorporated in Malaysia in 1974, undertakes large scale broking operations in Malaysia in Palm Oil and products, and rated among the top brokers in Malaysia. Countercorp was incorporated in 1986 and stands amongst the first few to be granted Pioneer status by the Government of Singapore as part of its drive to enhance countertrade services in the region. Countercorp has been invited to take approved and international trader status "AIT" which we are contemplating as our Singapore annual turnover exceeds US$ 150 million and the Group turnover surpasses US$ 400 million. Countercorp works through associates in Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Bangladesh and Pakistan with Groups which are effective and positive having a known track record in commodities and projects. Samuel Marshall is also involved in a number of projects in the Environmental waste disposal and water treatment area representing well-known companies in several countries of Asia. Marshall having represented AIR (Aero International Regional - British Aerospace) for Vietnam has some broad experience in Civil Aviation matters and is known in the industry. Countercorp seeks to focus on clients active in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Malaysia, China, Africa and Vietnam which correlates with the knowledge and experience of their staff. |
